Is it free to create a store on Wcommerce?

Yes, creating your store is 100% free. There are no registration fees or monthly charges.

Do I need a GSTIN to open a store?

No. You can still sell to your customers within your state without a GST. If you want to sell across India, turn on Affiliate status in the Settings under the Account option.

I don’t know much about mobile or apps. Can I still open a store?

Yes, you can. The setup is very simple. If you get stuck, we’re always here to help.

How do I add my own products?

No. You can choose products from our stock list. It’s free to add as many products as you want to your store.

Can I change my store name or logo later?

Yes, you can. Open your store owner dashboard, go to settings — you can change it from there. Make sure the store name has no spelling mistakes. This is how your store will appear on ONDC shopping apps.

What should I do if I’m stuck during setup?

What's the smallest amount I can keep or take out from my store's wallet and why?

You need to maintain a balance of ₹100 in the wallet. You can withdraw ₹100 or more each time. This is to avoid bank transaction charges. You can withdraw the entire amount if you decide to close your store.

Can I use product images for my social media or online promotions?

Yes, you can use product images from your shelf or from the brand’s official website for your social media promotions. If you create or edit visuals using AI, please ensure you don’t change the product’s packaging, colour or text, so customers don’t get confused between the real product and what they see in your posts.
